Aaaaannd… this just finished encoding. Fresh from a week ago, its just some video of Pyrofest, which I attended with the wonderful cstbygjc, whittiez, and Maria.

Mostly for my IRL bros

So after a lovely week at home with my parents (where my mother reminded me daily that she is losing her only son), I am now off living in Kansas, waiting to start my internship. Garmin was kind enough to provide free housing for the summer, and its pretty nice at that. I’m in a college apartment made for six people, with only two roommates, so plenty of space. The kitchen leaves a bit to be desired, and the living room isn’t furnished…but eh, I’m not going to complain too much :P

Having a room to myself more than makes up for it. I’m getting that feeling like I’m all adult again, and with luck it will turn out as such, (and not like sketchy con). Hope you are all well, sorry I shan’t be able to visit any of you again until the end of summer. But I look forward to some G+ing before then.

SO ANYWAY!

Today some friends and I had dinner at McDonalds. While we were ordering, I looked up at the ceiling and noticed that they had all these fruit decorations hanging to advertise those fun fruity freezy drinks they’re selling. They had strawberries, mangoes, bananas, pineapples, ect.

But I wanted a banana. Because I love bananas.

So I went up to the cashier and said, “Do you think your manager would let me buy one of these bananas?” She looked at me funny (of course) but got the manager anyway.

I repeated the question to him, and after a funny look of his own he laughed and told me that if I really wanted one, that he would just give me a banana. Needless to say, I told him I really wanted one.

So here I am: A girl with a big McDonalds banana of my own to hang from a ceiling of my choosing. This was a good day.

Dammit. I wanted to go out with you peoples today and do stuff, but I had to pack, and visit people, and my parents were all like no you can haz your freedom when you’re 13-hours away and then only because it’s not like we can do anything even though we would if we could D:

This is the first E3 where I’m actually most looking forward to what Sony has to show off. I want more Vita games!

Ninteno is going to have to pull off something amazing to get me really interested in the Wii U, and as far as I know the new Gears title is all I’m looking forward to from MS. Going to be an interesting year though.

As cool as the Vita looks I really don’t ever plan to own one, and as much as I want to like the Wii U I just feel like its gonna be a letdown.
